IBTS launches first ever Bloodmobile in Ireland
First ever Bloodmobile in Ireland launched today at St Stephens Green
Bloodmobile provides a flexible & innovative way for people to give blood during the working day
The Bloodmobile will soon be a familiar sight around Dublin as the Irish Blood Transfusion Service today (Wednesday) launched the first ever blood mobile in Ireland.
The Bloodmobile will travel to companies in the Greater Dublin area and on an appointment basis, will provide people with an opportunity to give blood during working hours at their place of work.
This is a new and exciting departure for the IBTS. Vodafone Irelandhas been tremendously supportive of this initiative and our relationship is a testament to the practical and very real impact corporate responsibility programmes can have. In general, the response from the business community to the blood mobile so far has been very positive and we hope to continue to develop and strengthen our relationships with businesses in the Greater Dublin area, said IBTS Chief Executive Andrew Kelly.
